When I went out for my twenty-first birthday, all I wanted was a few drinks and a night out with my friends but what I ended up with was so much more that what I’d expected. His reaction was the absolute worst and after the uncomfortable encounter, he handed me a business card and informed me that he wanted me to have a paternity test done and then we could handle things from there. After the test, he made it clear that he didn’t want anything to do with us but would help out financially and that was better than nothing at this point, but I wanted my son to have his father. I wondered if there were any way that Trent and I could ever make some sort of relationship possible and the more that I saw him, the more I wanted to be near him. Could things between the rich and arrogant philanthropist ever work out or would I always just be another bill that he had to pay? Could we ever find that spark that we had on the night we met or was I doomed to want him from afar and be doomed to forever just be nothing more than his son’s mother?

The book is nicely written but I felt there was no love or any connection between the main characters.
Karen and her friends go out to a club to celebrate her 21st birthday. They get invited into a VIP section and Karen meets Trent they have a steamy hot night together. Karen ends up pregnant from their night together. Months later she runs into Trent on the street and is surprised that he remembers her. After spending some time together she blurts out that she had his child. Trent doesn't believe her and demands a paternity test. Karen is upset and not sure if she really wants him in their lives but gives in and has the test done. Trent does a complete about face when he sees he is in fact the father. Will Trent be able to convince Karen to let him be involved in their lives?
This is a great story once I started I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Trent and Karen is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

In this book we meet Karen and Trent. Karen was just looking for a good time on her 21st birthday. Little did she know she would leave with more than a hangover that night. She wouldn't trade her time with her son. She would however like a little more money to help everything run smoothly. When she bumps into the baby's father she realizes that there is a chance she could have more. What she really want now though is more time with the father if only he would be open to the idea as well. Can they all get a HEA or will money trump time and attention in this story?
This is an amazing story. It has it's ups and downs that will have you emotionally connecting with the characters. There is so much I want to tell you about this book but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Karen is out celebrating her 21st birthday with her friends. Trent Mandrake a billionaire philanthropist spots her and has her escorted to the VIP section when they party. He promises to give her multiple orgasms as one of her birthday presents. She goes home with him, the next morning she wakes up alone with a note and no phone number. Karen discovers she is pregnant and has her baby alone. She alters her lifestyle to be a good mother. A year later she runs into Trent, he offers her a ride and she tells him she had his son. He orders a paternity test but she must keep it a secret that he is her son's father. He generously provides for them both. When the baby is running a high temperature from teething Karen takes him to the hospital and Trent shows up. Thereafter he has a monthly dinner with them and becomes involved in their lives. He knows and appreciates Karen is a good mother. Eventually he marries her. A great short read.

So my main issue with this one is that the H is a total butthead and never really makes me feel like he made it up to the h. It was all just brushed aside and boom HEA. Even the ending didn't have me feeling the love between the two it seemed more like legal and political maneuvering got them together.
Karen went out with her friends for her 21st birthday they were at the bar and then told to go to the VIP room where they had my favorite DJ.
Then he walked in Trent Mandrake and her friends went nuts. He and a few other men went upstairs to the VIP room. Karen and her friends were asked to go upstairs to Trent's table. Next thing she is in Trent's car heading to the fancy hotel. Karen meanwhile had Christopher. Karen's is on her way to work when she sees Trent and tries not to let him see her but then she hears her name. Trent tells Karen to get in car and then they were talking. Karen called him out about the time they were together. He tells her if she ever needed help to call him so she said that her and Christopher are doing fine. Trent asks her who Christopher was and she told him that he was Trent's son. Trent immediately thinks she is trying to blackmail him to get money. Karen flips out and she tells him to stop the car as she was leaving he told her he wants a paternity test and he would pay and gives her a card. Trent gets the paternity test and finds out indeed Christopher was his son. Karen was outside walking the baby when a black limo pulls up and Karen hears her name. It was Trent he has her get in with Christopher and he barely looked at the baby. He tells her they are on the way to his lawyers so she could sign some papers and it wasn't his first rodeo. Christopher starts screaming and wouldn't stop no matter what Karen tried she took his temperature and it was high. Karen immediately goes to the Emergency Room. Trent is running towards Karen to find out how his son was doing. Trent tells Karen that he was Christopher's emergency contact. Karen asked him over for dinner also so he could see Christopher. Trent mention something about telling her something she assumed he was going to tell her he is getting married. What he tells her leaves her stunned...
This was a well written quick afternoon read and delight! Enjoyed the story from the start to the finish. Easy read!
